  Aus Traueranzeige: Gail Konkle Myers, 75, of Elburn passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. She was born July 7, 1939, in East Orange, New Jersey the daughter of James and Doris (nee Wunderle) Konkle. She was united in marriage to James Myers August 15, 1987 in Wheaton, IL. Gail taught special education for the Wheaton-Warrenville school district until her retirement. During her life she served as a mother for over thirty foster children. Gail was a devoted member to Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia. Gail and Jim were both involved for many years with Fox Center Family and Friends, where Gail served for over twenty years as the Vice President. During her spare time quilting and gardening were her passions. Gail is survived by four children, Pamela (Anthony) Lyle, Steven (Terri) Wymore; Mark Wymore and Gloria Boland Rauch; five step-sons, Brian, (Joan) Bruce (Susan) Bradley, Brent, and Brandon (Kathi) Myers; eleven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; a sister Carol Dawrant, one brother Peter Konkle, and her devoted golden retriever Max. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Myers.
