    • ANGELA M. EHRHARDT, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at home. She was born in Rends burg, Germany. She attained her pediatric nursing degree in Luebeck Germany in 1955 and immigrated to the United States in 1955. Angela worked at the Lutheran Hospital nursery, and retired from St. Joseph Hospital after 25 years in medical records, in 1994. She met the love of her life Fritz at the Fort Wayne Sport Club. He was the leader of the band and she danced to the music and they married in 1958. She was a member of Aboite Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne Sports Club; Fort Wayne, past president and vice president of the Fort Wayne Maennerchor. She enjoyed to travel, dance, cook and bake and loved people. She was everyone's "Oma". Surviving are her daughter, Heidi Ehrhardt MD of Lexington, Ky.; cousin, Ute Koerner of Germany; son-in-law Kirk Moriarty of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Megan Moriarty and M. S. Ehrhardt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johann and Rosa Sazacki; husband, Fritz Ehrhardt; son, Robert J. Ehrhardt; daughter, Lori Moriarty; son-in-law, John Miller; and sister, Regine Behrens. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Aboite Lutheran Church, 10312 Aboite Center Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
