  Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Scheetz, 71, passed away at his home Monday morning, March 26, 2018. Ronnie was born November 28, 1946, the son of Lyle Francis and Virginia E. (Tarry) Scheetz in Keokuk, Iowa. He attended Colusa elementary and middle schools and graduated from Nauvoo-Colusa High School in 1964. On September 19, 1970, he was united in marriage to Carla Ann Barritt at the Appanoose Church in Niota. She survives. Ronnie was a life-long farmer. In his younger years he worked at the Nauvoo State Park and Nauvoo Cheese Factory. He had also worked for the Ortho Fertilizer plant in Ft. Madison. Ronnie enjoyed playing pool and old cars. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Carthage. He was preceded in death by his parents.
